Eid El Mawlid: Southern Ijaw Monarch greets Nigerian Muslims

The Eyewei (V) of Azzuzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of .  as they mark the 2025 Eid-el-Mawlid, has called on Muslims in Nigeria to emulate the life and legacies of peace in the holy books as they commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

In a statement on Friday, 5th September 2025, the Southern monarch stressed that there is no better time to practice the life and peaceful dispositions of Islam than now, given the current hardship being faced by Nigerians. He encouraged them to imbibe empathy, kindness and the spirit of sharing in order to reachout help those struggling in the society.

He used the opportunity to urge government at all levels to expedite actions that will soothen the economic brunts occasion by ongoing economic reforms in the country. He used the opportunity to also commended traditional rulers across the country for their efforts so far in ensuring peace and security of their communities despite persistent challenges. He concluded by wishing nigerian Muslims happy celebration.
