AA Wins 1 LGA in Just Concluded Rivers State LG Polls

Uzodinma Nwafor of the Action Alliance (AA) has been declared the winner of the chairmanship election held on October 5 in Etche Local Government Area, Rivers State.

The announcement was made by the Rivers State Independent National Electoral Commission (RSIEC) in Port Harcourt.

In addition to Nwafor’s victory, the Action Alliance secured all 19 councillorship seats in the local government.

Recall that the All Progressives Party (APP) has secured 22 out of 23 chairmanship seats in Rivers State.
